Ya transformer having many cores but its not all the cores electrically coupled on a common core.

Transformer is the device which has only magnetic links there is no such term like electrical coupling in any type of transformer.

Suppose the transformer getting 2 (or) 3 cores, the cost of individual cores & cost of insulation is more.
That's why single core is used on the transformer.
