turns ratio =h.v(less current ,more turns)/l.v(more current, less turns)=2000/400=5

We know,

Ratio = n2/n1 [k = n2/n1].

Than, k = 2000/400.

k = 5.

So, ratio is 5.

We know that:- Turn ratio=N2/N1;

HERE N2=2000;
N1=400;
T.R=2000/400=5

Turns ratio and transformation ratio both are different. So this answer is wrong.

Hi friends this answer is wrong because,

Turn ratio = N1/N2.

= 400/2000 = 0.2.

Transformation ratio = Vs/Vp = Es/Ep = Ns/Np = Ip/Is.
= Ns/Np = 2000/400 = 5.

Turns ratio is N1/N2.
Transformation ratio is N2/N1.
So, the answer is 0.2.

Turn ratio =N2/N1 or V2/V1.
As given
N2=2000
N1=400
so-
2000/400 = 5 ans.

Turns ratio k = n2/n1.

n2 = 2000, n1 = 400 now k = 2000/400.

So k = 5.

V1/V2 = N1/N2 = E1/E2 = a.

Where 'a' is turns ratio.

400/2000 = 0.2.
