It's D.
1. If the source voltage drop that cause high amps since P = I*V. So if V decrease the current will increase while power is constant.
2. If there is open of one branch the total parallel resistance will increase that cause increasing current as per V = I*R.

I = V/R.
1. I directly proportional to V.
2. I inversely proportional to R.
So, here the Correct Option is C and not D, because opening any resistor in Parrallel increases net resistance, and when net Resistance is increased, net current is reduced.

I says answer is only 'c' because if source voltage incresed at that time current will incresed or when resistance decreases current increases so how it is possible if resister open in parallel circuit so total resistance indreses not decreses.

The answer must be C only. As by open circuit 1 resistance the total resistance for parallel branches increases not decreases. And secondly a drop in source voltage always decrease current irrespective of parallel or series connection.

The option won't be D or B, because in parallel circuits the equivalent resistance will increases when a resistor opens from the parallel branch. And hence current decreases but not increases.

Whenever you'll open the resistor to accommodate for the value of current which was flowing through the current will get redistributed in all branches with an increased value.

Opening a resistance in a parallel circuit will decrease total current. So answer is C only.

Its C. According to the Ohm Law, I<1/R.
