a^0 can be written as a^3 x a^-3=a^0.

This in turn can be written as a^3/a^3 which is equal to 1.

As per mathematics rules that says
exponential power 0
equals to answer 1
e.g.
e^0 = 1;
It's true.

Exponent refers to the number of times a number is multiplied by itself.
For example,
2/2=1.

As x^y/x^y = 1.

This implies by exponent rules x^y.x^(-y) = 1.

or x^(y-y) = 1 or x^0 = 1.
