IDMS is Integrated Database Management System. It is primarily a network database management system for mainframes. It was first developed at B.F.Goodrich and later marketed by Cullinane Database Systems.

IDMS is an integrated system, oracle is an advanced and integrated but I don't hear about dbase. I go for R:base due to it is oldest data based management system.
