X = salary , Y= bonus A as per percentage.
X . A percnt = y.
A percnt = y/x.
A/100= y/x .
So A =y.100/x.

Why we divided 100 means they are asking in percentage.

Percentage means 100 so that we did that?

Bonus=3+2.52+3.84+3.68+3.96=17,
Salary=288+342+324+336+420=1710,
1710 * (X/100)=17,
X=1710/1710=1.

Easy
17/1710*100,
= 17/171 *10,
= 17 * 10/171.
= 170/171.
= 1.

Total salary of x% = Total bonus
i.e. 17X100/1710
= 0.9 i.e. 1% approx.
