The world's first fast-charging e-bus, named 'Veera Mahasamrat', was launched in Bengaluru by Veera Vahana and Exponent Energy. Initially, it will operate on the Bengaluru-Hyderabad route, supported by the installation of four charging stations along the way. BEML Ltd. has started the prototype manufacturing of the 5RS-DM driverless Metro trainsets for Bangalore Metro's lines, including the airport line. Uttar Pradesh is set to create India's first solar-powered expressway, aiming for completion by 2026. The state government plans to establish solar parks along the 296 km Bundelkhand Expressway, generating between 450-550 megawatts of clean energy.
