Madhya Pradesh emerges as the state with the largest leopard population in India, as revealed by the report released by Shri Bhupender Yadav, the National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA), and the Wildlife Institute of India. This underscores the significance of Madhya Pradesh's habitats, particularly in tiger reserves like Nagarajunasagar Srisailam, Panna, and Satpura, which serve as crucial habitats for leopards.

The Telangana state government has mandated the adoption of the 'One Time Scheme' (OTS) across all urban local bodies (ULBs), including the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), aiming to provide relief to property owners by waiving off 90% of accrued arrears interest on property tax payments.

The Uttarakhand government intends to introduce the Uttarakhand Public and Private Property Damage Recovery Bill, making rioters liable for damage to government and private property. This initiative aligns with similar laws enacted in Uttar Pradesh and Haryana to maintain law and order and protect public assets.

The 2nd State Level Shehri Samridhi Utsav was inaugurated by Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha in Agartala, Tripura. The Bihar government partnered with the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) to enhance the startup ecosystem in the state. This collaboration aims to establish Bihar as a significant startup hub. As part of the initiative, the Bihar Startup Scale-up Financing Fund with a Rs 50-crore corpus is introduced to provide crucial funding support to emerging startups.
