The Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Government of India, launched the ‘A-HELP‘ (Accredited Agent for Health and Extension of Livestock Production) programme in the state of Jharkhand in October 2023. The A-HELP programme is a women-centric initiative that aims to empower Pashu Sakhis and strengthen the livestock sector in rural areas. Under the programme, Pashu Sakhis will be trained and certified to provide veterinary care and extension services to farmers. This will help to bridge the gap between farmers and veterinary services and improve the overall health and productivity of livestock.

The Bihar government has announced a 10% reservation quota for people falling under the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category in the state's judicial services, as well as in government-run law colleges and universities.

Tripura has become the fourth state in India to implement an e-cabinet system, after Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, and Arunachal Pradesh. The e-cabinet system is a paperless system for conducting cabinet meetings. It uses digital tablets and software to distribute cabinet papers, record minutes, and make decisions. The system is designed to improve efficiency and transparency in government decision-making.
