Gujarat marked a significant milestone by successfully launching its first sounding rocket near Dholera on March 15, 2026. Developed by Ahmedabad-based Omspace Rocket and Exploration Pvt Ltd, the rocket reached an altitude of about 3 kilometers and carried a mini satellite payload for weather data collection. This achievement highlights the growing role of private startups in India’s space sector and reflects the state’s commitment to innovation through its Spacetech Policy 2025–2030. The mission also demonstrated advancements in propulsion, avionics, and lightweight composite materials, strengthening India’s self-reliance in aerospace technology.

The Himachal Pradesh government signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the National Dairy Development Board on March 16, 2026, to strengthen its dairy sector. The agreement focuses on enhancing milk processing capacity, improving infrastructure, and supporting farmers by providing better facilities. A key component of this initiative is the development of the Dagwar dairy project, which aims to become a major processing hub. Haryana is the state where the Metropolis project by Reliance MET City is located, marking a significant milestone in sustainable urban development. The project has achieved India’s first LEED Platinum Pre-Certification under the global LEED for Cities framework, reflecting high standards in energy efficiency, water management, and climate resilience. Located in the Jhajjar district near Delhi, the development benefits from strategic connectivity and infrastructure. It is part of a larger industrial and residential ecosystem, supporting economic growth while promoting environmentally responsible urban planning aligned with international sustainability benchmarks.

Uttarakhand has strengthened its medical infrastructure to ensure the safety and well-being of pilgrims during the Char Dham Yatra. The government has introduced the e-Swasthya Dham portal for real-time health monitoring and deployed experienced medical staff along the pilgrimage routes. Multiple health facilities, including medical relief posts and screening centers, have been set up. Additionally, a fleet of ambulances, including advanced and specialised units, has been arranged along with helicopter and boat ambulance services.
