Sundar Singh Gurjar broke the world record in the men's javelin F46 event at the Asian Para Games 2023 with a throw of 68.60 meters. This incredible achievement surpassed the previous world record held by Sri Lankan Dinesh Priyantha at 67.79 meters. Sundar's throw also set new Games and Asian Records.

Sumit Antil, the reigning Paralympic champion in javelin throw, broke the world record in the F64 category at the 2023 Asian Para Games with a throw of 73.29 meters. This surpassed his previous world record of 70.83 meters.
