Sri Ganganagar is the hottest place in India, with summer temperatures regularly soaring above 45 degrees Celsius (115 degree Fahrenheit). It is located in the northernmost part of the Indian state of Rajasthan, in the Thar Desert.

India's first RRTS was launched in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh on October 21, 2023. The RRTS is a high-speed rail system that will connect major cities in the National Capital Region (NCR). The first phase of the RRTS will connect Delhi, Ghaziabad, and Meerut.

Shri Rajnath Singh, Minister of Defence of India, inaugurated the first edition of the Indian Military Heritage Festival in New Delhi on October 21, 2023. The two-day festival aims to celebrate India's rich military culture and heritage, through conversations, art, dance, drama, story-telling and exhibitions.

Dhordo Village in Gujarat has been awarded the UNWTO's Best Tourism Village 2023. This is a significant achievement for India, as it is the first time that an Indian village has won this award. Dhordo is known for its Rann of Kutch festival, which attracts tourists from all over the world. The village is also home to several other tourist attractions, such as the White Desert, the Kutch Museum, and the Aina Mahal.

The Indian Navy is all set to host the Mid-Planning Conference for MILAN 24 (Multilateral Naval Exercise- 2024) at Visakhapatnam from 19th February to 27th February 2024. This event follows a long-standing tradition of hosting the MILAN exercise, showcasing India’s commitment to fostering international maritime cooperation.
