The ICC Annual Conference 2024 will be held in Sri Lanka from July 19th to 22nd. This is a historic event as it marks the first time the International Cricket Council (ICC) is hosting its Annual Conference in the Asian region. The conference will bring together over 220 delegates from 108 ICC member countries, highlighting the global nature of cricket and its growing prominence in Asia. Key discussions will include strategic direction, governance, and cricket’s inclusion in the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics.

The second regional event of the ‘Hamara Samvidhan Hamara Samman’ campaign will take place in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh on 16th July 2024. This event commemorates the 75th anniversary of the Indian Constitution's adoption and aims to promote understanding of the Constitution and legal rights. It will feature the launch of a dedicated portal and various sub-campaigns to raise awareness. The event includes prize distribution for online competition winners and recognition of pro bono advocates from the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad.

The photographic exhibition "Thailand-India Interwoven Legacies: Stream of Faith in Buddhism" was inaugurated at the National Museum in New Delhi by Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat. This exhibition highlights the cultural ties between Thailand and India, focusing on the Thai people's devotion to Bhagwan Buddha and His teachings. Air India is setting up South Asia's largest flight training school in Amravati, Maharashtra, with an investment exceeding ₹200 crore. This initiative, in partnership with Maharashtra Airport Development Company (MADC), aims to train 180 commercial pilots annually using modern infrastructure and optimal weather conditions, contributing significantly to India's aviation self-reliance and catering to the airline's pilot requirements amidst its fleet expansion plans.

The Central Railway has installed a floating solar plant of 10 MWp capacity in Igatpuri Lake, located in the Western Ghats.
