The Indian Navy car rally was flagged off from New Delhi on 13th September 2025 by Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi, Chief of the Naval Staff. The rally aimed to foster stronger connections with citizens, particularly in Uttar Pradesh, while also spreading maritime awareness. Covering nearly 1700 kilometers, the journey included key cities such as Agra, Lucknow, Varanasi, and Kanpur. During this rally, the Navy engaged with veterans, NGOs, and local communities. Launching the event from New Delhi, the capital city, highlighted the national significance of the outreach initiative and underscored the Navy’s commitment to public engagement.

The 5th Coast Guard Global Summit is scheduled to be hosted in Chennai in 2027, coinciding with the Golden Jubilee of the Indian Coast Guard. This major three-day event will bring together global Coast Guard representatives to deliberate on maritime challenges, strengthen international collaboration, and foster trust among nations. Highlights will include an International Fleet Review and a World Coast Guard Seminar, both aimed at promoting interoperability and addressing shared maritime issues. Hosting the summit in Chennai, a key coastal hub of India, reflects its strategic maritime significance and the city’s role in global maritime cooperation.

The newly inaugurated NTH Chemical Laboratory is located in Ghaziabad. This facility is designed to enhance testing and analysis in multiple sectors such as water, food packaging, construction materials, fertilizers, plastics, and metals. With advanced equipment like AAS, ICP-AES, OES, GC-MS, HPLC, and Ion Chromatograph, the lab aims to support both industrial needs and public health by ensuring strict safety and quality compliance. Establishing such a facility in Ghaziabad strengthens the city’s role in national-level research and development, while also helping industries adhere to international testing and regulatory standards.

The 5th Central Advisory Council meeting under the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act (RERA) took place in New Delhi. The meeting was significant as it witnessed the launch of the Unified RERA portal by Housing Minister Manohar Lal. The portal is designed to improve transparency, accountability, and timely project delivery in the real estate sector. The event also emphasised the importance of states and union territories fully implementing RERA to safeguard the interests of citizens, particularly homebuyers, by ensuring a more regulated and transparent housing market.

The 3rd North East Aviation Summit and Ministers’ Conference is being hosted in Itanagar, the capital of Arunachal Pradesh. This marks the first time the state has hosted such a significant aviation event. The summit brings together Union Minister Rammohan Naidu, MoS Murlidhar Mohol, and various state ministers to discuss vital issues related to the aviation sector. Key focus areas include airport expansion, the introduction of helicopters, seaplanes, and drones, along with Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) activities. Organised by the Ministry of Civil Aviation in collaboration with FICCI and the Arunachal government, the event highlights regional connectivity goals.
