The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) was established on July 27, 1939, originally named the Crown Representatives Police. The force was created to maintain internal security during political turmoil in the princely states of India. It was later renamed CRPF on December 28, 1949, and has since evolved into a central paramilitary force under the Ministry of Home Affairs, playing a significant role in law and order, counter-insurgency, VIP protection, and disaster management.

India's installed nuclear power capacity is projected to increase from 8,180 MW to 22,480 MW by 2031-32. This growth is part of a broader strategy to enhance the country's nuclear power infrastructure to support its long-term energy needs and environmental goals. The expansion includes the construction and development of new reactors, with the ultimate aim of achieving a national nuclear capacity of 100,000 MW by 2047 to meet its net-zero emissions target by 2070.

The 'Rajbhasha Gaurav Samman' for 2023-24 was awarded to Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) in Visakhapatnam. Mumbai, India's bustling financial capital, is preparing to launch its first underground metro, known as the Aqua Line, to enhance its urban transit system. The Aqua Line, also referred to as Mumbai Metro 3, will span 33.5 kilometres and feature 27 stations, connecting significant areas from Aarey Colony to Cuffe Parade. This new metro line aims to alleviate congestion on Mumbai's crowded streets, providing a more efficient and quicker transportation alternative. The project's phased implementation will begin on July 24, 2024, with full completion expected by the end of December 2024.

The Ministry of Panchayati Raj is set to launch the 'Gramoday Sankalp' magazine, aiming to highlight the theme “Viksit Bharat and Role of Panchayats.” This initiative seeks to disseminate best practices and innovative grassroots approaches, with support from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting’s Policy Planning Cell.
