Jaipur Military Station has achieved the distinction of becoming the second military station in India to construct a road using plastic waste, following Narangi Military Station in Guwahati, Assam, which pioneered this eco-friendly initiative in 2019. Inaugurated on June 26, 2024, by Major General R.S. Godara, this 100-meter-long road stretches from Sagat Singh Road under the bridge to the Cubs Corner complex. The initiative aligns with the Indian Army’s sustainable development goals, promoting durability and reducing environmental impact compared to traditional road construction methods.
