Cuttack Rupa Tarakasi, more commonly known as Silver Filigree, has been granted the Geographical Indication (GI) tag by the Geographical Indications Registry in Chennai. This recognition highlights Cuttack's unique craftsmanship and artistry in producing Silver Filigree, distinguishing it as a protected form of art.

The platform introduced by the Department of Telecommunications to report fraud calls and texts is called "Chakshu." Integrated into the Sanchar Saathi portal, Chakshu aims to empower individuals to report suspected fraudulent activities, fostering collaboration and promoting shanti (peace) in the community by combating cybercrime and financial fraud.
