India ranks 39th on the Global Innovation Index 2024, which highlights a gap in its innovation capabilities despite being the 2nd-largest producer of STEM graduates globally. This low ranking is attributed to insufficient research and development (R&D) funding, especially in comparison to countries like China and South Korea, which have significantly higher R&D investment. India’s focus on R&D needs to be strengthened to improve its global innovation standing and economic growth.

Tata Power launched the 'Club Enerji Eco Crew' initiative with the aim to educate 5 lakh students across 1,000 schools in 24 cities on solar energy adoption. This initiative aligns with the PM Surya Ghar Yojana, which promotes rooftop solar energy and sustainable practices. By targeting cities like Lucknow, Varanasi, and Kanpur, Tata Power is fostering eco-conscious awareness among students and encouraging them to adopt environmentally friendly energy solutions.

The Water Sustainability Conference 2025 took place at the NDMC Convention Centre in New Delhi. This event, organized by the Bureau of Water Use Efficiency (BWUE) in collaboration with The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), focused on promoting industrial water use efficiency. Mumbai led the growth in warehousing demand in India in 2024, with 10.3 million square feet of warehousing transactions. India's overall warehousing transactions rose by 12% year-on-year to 56.4 million square feet, driven by the expansion of manufacturing and third-party logistics (3PL). Other cities like Bengaluru, Kolkata, and Chennai also saw significant growth in demand, but Mumbai took the lead. Additionally, private equity investments surged, reflecting the growth of e-commerce and the supply chain sector.

Amul has been ranked as the 3rd most valued brand in India according to the YouGov India Value Rankings 2025. This ranking places Amul alongside Amazon (1st) and Flipkart (2nd). Amul, known for its strong consumer trust, affordability, and high-quality dairy products, is the only FMCG brand in the top three. Its success is attributed to its cooperative model that supports farmers, its wide market penetration, and consistent innovation, ensuring its appeal across various consumer segments. This recognition reinforces Amul's position as a leader in India's FMCG industry.
