Atal Innovation Mission partnered with Hitachi MGRM Net to develop the MStar Global AI Connect platform, an initiative aimed at boosting nationwide innovation. The platform is designed to connect schools, mentors, incubators, and industry stakeholders, enabling a seamless pipeline from school-level creativity to startup ecosystems and further into market-ready innovations. By facilitating these linkages, the initiative aims to foster large-scale entrepreneurship, fuel technological advancements, and support the broader goal of transforming India into a developed nation. The focus on collaboration makes AIM a central driver in nurturing the next generation of innovators.

Bharat Taxi has initiated its pilot trials in Delhi and Gujarat as part of a transformative shift toward a cooperative, driver-owned ride-hailing model. Supported by the Union Ministry of Cooperation and National e-Governance Division, the platform aims to create an alternative to conventional aggregators by offering zero-commission earnings, no-surge transparent pricing, and democratic participation for drivers, who are recognised as stakeholders rather than just service providers. The early trials include beta testing of the mobile app, rapid onboarding of over 51,000 drivers, and active operations in Delhi and the Saurashtra region. These efforts mark an important step in promoting cooperative-driven digital platforms under the “Sahakar Se Samriddhi” vision.

Sanchar Saathi was the application involved in the government’s withdrawn directive that initially required smartphone manufacturers to pre-install it on all devices. Developed by the Department of Telecommunications, the app is designed to combat cyber fraud, mobile theft, SIM-related misuse, and unauthorised connections. Despite its strong security benefits—such as tracing stolen phones, disconnecting fraudulent mobile connections, and blocking scam attempts—the mandatory installation raised widespread concerns regarding privacy, potential snooping, and lack of stakeholder consultation. As a result, the government opted for a voluntary model, reinforcing its commitment to user choice, transparency, and safeguarding digital rights while continuing to promote cybersecurity awareness.

Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi has achieved the distinction of becoming India’s first water-positive airport among facilities handling over 40 million passengers annually. This recognition reflects its ability to replenish more water than it consumes through advanced sustainability initiatives. The airport has installed 625 rainwater harvesting systems, two massive underground reservoirs with a combined storage capacity of 9 million litres, and a highly efficient 16.6 MLD zero-liquid-discharge sewage treatment plant. These efforts enable extensive recycling and reuse of water for operations such as irrigation, HVAC systems, and sanitation. By adopting smart systems and efficient infrastructure, IGI sets a national benchmark for sustainable airport management.

India secured the 8th rank in its first-ever participation at World Skills Asia 2025, marking a significant milestone in the nation’s skill development journey. The event featured over 500 competitors across 44 different skill categories, creating a vibrant platform for global exchange, collaboration, and showcasing talent. India’s performance included winning one Silver, two Bronze, and three Medallions for Excellence. This achievement was made possible through the efforts of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, NSDC, and WorldSkills India, demonstrating the country’s growing commitment to skill advancement and international competitiveness.
