The Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM Indore) has partnered with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) to transform skill development and entrepreneurship in India. The partnership focuses on research, rural entrepreneurship incubation, and a dynamic skilling program.

The government of India has notified the third phase of mandatory hallmarking of gold jewellery and artefacts from September 8, 2023. The third phase will cover an additional 55 districts, taking the total number of districts covered under mandatory hallmarking to 343.

PepsiCo India has announced that it will invest Rs 778 crore to set up a new food manufacturing plant in Nalbari district, Assam. The plant is expected to be operational by 2025 and will create direct and indirect employment opportunities for around 500 people. The plant will be PepsiCo's first food-focused manufacturing plant in the Northeast region. It will produce Lay's potato chips, Kurkure snacks, and other food products. The plant will also use advanced technology to reduce its environmental impact.

Amazon India has signed a pact with five state governments in India to empower Persons with Disabilities (PwDs). The states are Haryana, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. The memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed on September 7, 2023. The MoU aims to provide skilling and employment opportunities to PwDs in the five states.

Tabreed, the Abu Dhabi-based cooling-as-a-service provider, is set to invest $200 million in establishing Asia's largest district cooling project in Hyderabad.
