If shear force is zero at that poin BM is may maximum or minimum.
When shear force changes it sign at that point of zero SF, maximum BM occurs.
When shear force changes it sign at that point of zero SF, maximum BM occurs.

@All.
The options should either have 'minimum' or 'changes sign' because where sfd change its sign that point is where SF is zero.

In a section, if there is no point like sf 0. There must be a point of max bm so, Answer is minimum.

Both zero and changes sign is the correct answer. Because when sf changes sign from max to min or vice versa, it will come to a point when sf will be zero.
So according to the given options "changes sign" is the correct answer.
So according to the given options "changes sign" is the correct answer.

At SSB the fixed end has Max BM & SF both.
So, it's better to generalize that SF sign change= Max BM.
So, it's better to generalize that SF sign change= Max BM.
