The given answer is right.
Repealing groynes toward upstream at 30 degree.
Attractive is downstream at 60 to 70 degree.
Deflecting is 90 degree.

Repelling groynes are used to move away the water it means don't allow water to erose the bank of river. So the answer is correct.

Yes option A is also correct as spur and groyne are kind of same thing.

And spurs are made perpendicular to bank.
