Correct option should be D as in conjugate beam method, we replace intermediate free hinges by rollers and rollers by free hinges and if there is fixed joint at one end then it becomes the free end and vice versa and the hinge support at ends remain unchanged.

It is Option A.

Internal hinge (θ exist & δ exist) become external hinge (V exist & M exist respectively) in the conjugate beam.

D is 100% right answer.

D is correct one.

And what is c point?

Bhawna Gaur said:   9 years ago
Answer should be D because internal hinge becomes internal support.

I think the answer is D.

Normally, conjugate beam fixed end is converted free end. Roller support is a shift to hinged point. So the answer is D.

D can't be the answer.

Because at support c there should be only angular disdplacement not linear displacement in conjucate beam.

In case of the conjugate beam, fixed end becomes free and vice versa and Hinge Remains same.
