Shingle is water-bound pebble found usually along beaches and natural water bodies. It is used as a roofing material, surfacing of the boundary walls, filling, etc.
Moorum is formed from disintegrated laterite. It is generally used for manufacturing paver blocks, for laying pathways by directly compaction, or as a binding material for making kutcha houses, etc.
Rhyolite is an example of crushed granite used as an aggregate in the road construction industry.
