The formula of LCM :
LCM = HCF * X * Y,
LCM = 4 * 4 * 3,
LCM = 48.
LCM = HCF * X * Y,
LCM = 4 * 4 * 3,
LCM = 48.

How x=3 why not 4?
LCM*HCF=product.
X*4=3x*4x.
X=3.
LCM*HCF=product.
X*4=3x*4x.
X=3.

Hcf = product/lcm.
= 3*4+4*4/4.
= 48.
= 3*4+4*4/4.
= 48.

4x*3x = 12x.
12x= 4(hcf),
So x=3.
How 4?
12x= 4(hcf),
So x=3.
How 4?
