@Sangeetha.
35 is common for all ratio. Because add 3 ratios.
i.e., 14+12+9=35.

When investments of all the partners are 'for the same time', the gain or loss or liability is distributed among the partners in the ratio of their investments.
Therefore, A's investment = 7X*10/12.
Therefore, B's investment = 5X*12/12.
Therefore, C's investment = 3X*15/12.
=> A : B : C = (7X*10/12) : (5X*12/12) : (3X*15/12).
=> A : B : C = 70X : 60X : 45X.
=> A : B : C = 70 : 60 : 45.
=> Obligation of C to pay rent = 45*175/(70+60+45) = Rs. 45.
Therefore, A's investment = 7X*10/12.
Therefore, B's investment = 5X*12/12.
Therefore, C's investment = 3X*15/12.
=> A : B : C = (7X*10/12) : (5X*12/12) : (3X*15/12).
=> A : B : C = 70X : 60X : 45X.
=> A : B : C = 70 : 60 : 45.
=> Obligation of C to pay rent = 45*175/(70+60+45) = Rs. 45.
