How many of the following numbers are divisible by 132 ?

132 = 4 x 3 x 11

So, if the number divisible by all the three number 4, 3 and 11, then the number is divisible by 132 also.

2178 11,3 (X)

5184 3,4 (X)

6336 11,3,4 (/)

Therefore the following numbers are divisible by 132 : 264, 396, 792 and 6336.

Required number of number = 4.

We can tell this as prime factorization. So, the prime factors of 132 is 4, 11, 3.

This is the wrong answer. In this logic, 462 can also divide by 4, 3, 11.

Factor found of 132 = 2*2*11*3.
So that's the reason for taking 4*11*3.

Here, We can take 6, but again 6 having the factors of 2*3.
