Converting each of given fractions into decimal form Ex: 6/7=0.85, 5/6=0.83 and so on That is the trick.
Second Method find out HCF of denominator and LCM of numerator.

@All.
A B and C options start with 1/3.
This means they are in ascending order
only D starts with 6/7,
This is arranged in descending order.
So, D is the answer.

Numerator must be more than denominator to be higher value. From all of these options, D has numerator slightly somewhat higher than A, B C, so D is answer.

I think these fractions can be compared by cross multiplication method or by making all the denominators the same like using lcm as a multiplication factor.

Convert all into like fractions by taking their lCM, their LCM comes out to be 210 and then convert them according to their LCM and then we get the answer.

For the first 3 options, check the first two numbers.
1/3 = 0.3333 and 2/5 = 0.4 which is in ascending order.
Hence answer is Option(D) by elimination
1/3 = 0.3333 and 2/5 = 0.4 which is in ascending order.
Hence answer is Option(D) by elimination

@Umesh.
Your trick is not applicable for all types of questions.
It will work only when difference between the given numerator is equal.
