It was Sunday on Jan 1, 2006. What was the day of the week Jan 1, 2010?
Answer: Option
Explanation:
On 31st December, 2005 it was Saturday.
Number of odd days from the year 2006 to the year 2009 = (1 + 1 + 2 + 1) = 5 days.
On 31st December 2009, it was Thursday.

Divide 4 to any year. If reminder is 0 then it is leap year.

From 2010..... 2000 is a factor of 400.(A/C to leap year Formula).
Therefore Year 2000 is Leap year hence we get 0 odd days.
From remaining 10 Years we have,
8 Ordinary years and 2 leap years i.e.,(4th & 8th year).
=> 8*1 + 2*2 = 12 days.
12/7 = 1 week + 5 odd days.
A/C to formula 5th day represent Friday.
