Wipro Interview Experience - K L University, September 1, 2015
I am a ECE Engg student of KL University, Guntur, Andhra pradesh.
I have attended on campus interview at KL University, vaddeswaram.
The whole process consists of four rounds.
Written, Technical, HR and GD.
The written test was pretty easy, and was conducted by Amcat, Since we have practiced verbal and quant very well. Most of the students cleared this round.
Coming to the technical round, My turn was late as the interviewee were called alphabetical order of their name, it was approx. 8:30PM. Since there were approx. 700 students out of 1200 who have qualified the test. All were very nervous since for most of us it was the first interview.
I entered the cabin, and greeted the TR Guy.
He was leaving a laptop in front of him and was going through the data base which we have submitted online in Synergy portal of Wipro. It consists of all our Academics, Interest, certifications etc. ,
He was young so I was little happy, since experienced person may put you in different loops to test you.
He told me to introduce myself.
And then the scenario begins. I said that one of the reason for which I want to join wipro was, due to its ethics.
Now he asked me. Are you a ethical person? The only answer which I can give is a YES.
Now he asked me to tell An example where I have applied ETHICS in engineering?
Now how can you correlate these 2 things?
Most of the interview time was spent on this mighty question. Somehow I managed to convince him.
Then he asked me about the various project that I have done in academics.
I have explained him all the projects which I have done in different coding platforms like MATLAB, Xilinx, C, C++, etc. , The project which I stressed most was the, project which I have done in UTLP kit for Mission10x, WIPRO as a MINI PROJECT.
Then he asked. What will you do if the company has gone into a crisis? I answered it positively.
For every answer I give he was making his face, as he was not convinced. And a moment also came when he said that. Are you telling the answer or I should mark it as a NO in the server.
He was testing my Stress levels. But I too answered all the questions with smiles.
Then he said OK, do you have any question for me? I said NO.
Then I asked him if he want to ask any questions in JAVA, C++, or C. Then he said---SEEMS THAT you HAVE PREPARED MUCH FOR IT. NO NEED, Both of us smiled for a while and I left the cabin.
Seems that with the explanation of my SOUND projects consisting of C++, Java he was confident that I am good at coding.
And it was TR cum HR round for me.
20-30 Students were called for GD, as a formality and it was 12:00 AM. My name was not in the GD list. So I Left The Campus.
A month after results were declared and approx 400 students were selected and Thanks to god, I was one Among them.
SO, the things which you should concentrate is, ---the most primary ie. , Written.
And then you should do 3-4 times practice in front of mirror to deliver your self well, and not fell in pit holes.
Self intro is the basic question. N the interviewer decides most of the verdict from it.
Explain the projects well, And always keep a stress less smile on your face.
