Wipro Technologies Interview Experience - Hyderabad, August 1, 2015
Hope you are waiting for your turn to join Wipro, of course I too dreamed a lot to join this company. And now my dream come true. And I want to share a lot many words regarding my happiness and all. But now I just want you to be placed in Wipro. So, this is my interview procedure.
Off campus for 2015 B-Tech freshers throughout INDIA.
Written test in Sree Nidhi College of Engineering and my reporting time is 9.00 clock and it was a 2 hour journey from the place where I stayed so I started ahead but unable to reach there on time. I reached there at 9:10 of course totally tensed but the moment I stepped in I got relieved by the fact that the total ground was crowded like anything, all are waiting for identity verification by Wipro.
Some of my friends got rejected because of their failure to bring any original Govt. ID proof before written test itself. But what the management and recruiting team told was. Whether we mention it or not it was your duty to carry your original proof when you were attending any MNC. And now written test started at 11.00 clock.
It was a set of 5 module written test:
1st module: Aptitude.
2nd: Logical ability.
I have cracked this easily with some preparation by means of following previous papers (thanks for that INDIABIX) and the complete pattern was of AMCAT pattern and as I was familiar with AMCAT before it was not that tough for me.
For all those who reached a minimum cut-off in each and every module are eligible to write fifth module and it was coding test. Two codes were given:
1. Sorting array of 'n' elements in a way that after k (a particular) element the elements must be in ascending order and before k element the elements must be in descending order.
2. G.C.D of two numbers.
And I solved both these question so I was pretty much confident after returning that I can easily qualify for the next rounds and I started preparing for interview. After 2 days the result came like you need 2 attend interview at Wipro main branch in Hyderabad, Manikonda branch on 16th Aug.
And now again I started preparing for interview. On 16th august first round was T.R and next was H.R. A person informed us that both were elimination rounds.
As usual, tell me about yourself, your projects, program to find string length without using string handling functions, why you choose ECE, about our college.
That's it it was pretty easy. (Because of hell lot of preparation. That I went through before attending the interview). Promoted to next round i.e H.R.
Tell me about yourself, stressed more on my hobbies, some tricky questions like. "If I were a student and I got 60% and you got 90% what was your opinion on me", obviously marks are not at all a criteria to judge a person. I told this way and finally he asked me an out of the box question where I fumbled a little just because I failed to be in touch with politics and latest news.
But finally he smiled at me and wished me good luck. And said you can leave for a day. And after that I was totally depressed and sad (at it was a great chance to me and from the past 15 days I dream about being in that company). So I finally stopped thinking anything bad and left everything to fate. Started attending other interviews parallel. And finally on 24th August. I was very delighted after checking my inbox congratulations, you were selected.
That day after many failures I have seen the light of success. A sense of happiness already occupied my mind and I was very happy. And I'm on cloud nine.
Just one thing finally I want to share with you. It was just your FAILURES that lead to your success and nothing can stop you to achieve your dream when time comes :).
