Wipro Technologies Interview Experience - Mathura, October 13, 2013

Hello everyone,

It was Wipro this time that I was required to crack. It came with 3 rounds. 1st one was GD. We were 15 students in one group and we were asked to discuss on the topic "Private Institution v/s Govt. Institution".

Anyhow we started a discussion. Everyone was giving their best ideas about it. I was also trying to say my point but it was a kind of struggle for me to say even a sentence. But I could see that the person from Wipro was not even looking at who is saying what. Well according to me it was not a very good discussion but the person told us that it was the best one till. Whatever, I don't know on what basis they're deciding to whom to shortlist. I knew that I didn't speak too much just very few things I brought out. However I was shortlisted. I was too happy.

Then came the Aptitude round. This time I didn't want to repeat my that mistake again that I did at the time of Infosys. Then I did not even read the questions properly but in a hurry to complete I could not make it. This time I was calm and composed. I read questions very carefully as there was no scope to go back so it was good to concentrate at one at a time. Questions from quant were quite easy just simple ones. Logical part was too not that much difficult.

I was confident about the programming and I was very consciously doing them. Programming questions were quite tricky means they were easy you just had to focus more. Then English section was also ok ok not too difficult.

So I cracked it too and that too with second highest marks.

Then I was called for Technical Interview. I prepared well but still it was for the first time for me so I was quite nervous.

I don't remember the aptitude questions but I can tell the interview questions:

1. Tell me about yourself.

2. More details about family.

3. Do you have any problem if we relocate you?

4. Programming language you are familiar with.

5. He gave me a pattern of numbers to code it was:

6. Difference between Physical address and IP address.

7. CISC and RISC.

8. Stack and Queue.

9. Circular Queue.

10. Projects I have worked on.

So these were some questions. I hope it will help you. They didn't take my HR interview but they selected me after my technical only.

See interview and all is not a very difficult thing it just depends that how you are making it. Its only you who make it easy or difficult. Don't go too deep, don't let them ask you more. Tell them as much as required. One more major factor is luck. Interview is 50% your preparation and 50% luck. I didn't except that they will shortlist me after GD as I told you it was not so good on my part but may be it was luck only that laid me further. But don't depend on it completely. Prepare for the best and ready for the worst.

So, keep practicing, keep learning. We all have that caliber that can take us ahead in life. Be good do good!!
