WIPRO PATTERN & INTERVIEW - 21 FEB 2007 - KOLKATTA

Hi Friends

This is Amit from BPPIMT.(3rd year it student)

Wipro came to r college yesterday,21st of Feb. I am obviously exited to get through. But believe me it wasn't a cakewalk. Honestly speaking I am not good at apti and to my disliking the aptitude test was not easy.

In the verbal portion a passage was there,there was analogy & idioms. coming from Eng. Medium background it definitely helped me solve this portion. And the technical part was quite easy but the real problem was aptitude part. There was questions from projectiles(!!!!). but somehow due to god's grace I could answer 54 out of 60!!!!.

Then the real test came from the technical interview. I was asked questions from java's byte code, compilation and linking procedure. Then he asked me to write a program based on time complexity(!!!!). I could manage almost everything with ease but I couldn't give 1 answer from O.S.

Then h.r. Started (there was 1 man and he was more than enough)
Man: so u r amit lahiri, what was your jee rank?
Me: 3507.

Man: give a brief intro.
Me :bla bla. I told I am interested in palmistry. (he was probably pleased to hear this, I mean tell something which will excite them).

Man: your jee rank was such that u could have gone for better college and cs stream.
Me: bla bla.

Man: why wipro should hire u?
Me: bla bla.

Finally the results came out and I was one of the 79 students out of 315 to get selected. So buddies give your best, pray to god & success will be yours. all the best.
