WIPRO PATTERN & INTERVIEW - 06 MAR 2007 - CHENNAI

Hi Friends

I am Saranya. Wipro came to my college on March 6 2007. Totally three rounds were conducted in selection process.

1)WRITTEN TEST
The total duration was 60 minutes. The paper cosisted of three sections.
A)aptitude-parking, computing number of squares (a fig.was given), etc.it was easy.
B)verbal-logical sequence, fill in the blanks with appropriate words, analogy. this section was a bit tough.
C)technical-finding the output, some commands in unix, order of OSI layers(networks), etc.

2)TECHNICAL INTERVIEW
In this questions were asked from your areas of interest. Since i told am interested in programing languages, questions were mainly asked from C and C++. Concentrated on pointers, oops concepts, data structures,etc..

The HR form was given on the spot means that you are selected for the final process. communication skills were checked mainly here.

3)HR INTERVIEW
In HR some technical questions were asked since am from CSE discipline. Focussed on computer architecture, operating system (paging, segmentation). Then moved on to general questions like whats ur rank in ur class, why should i hire you,etc.(your communication skill is also checked).

Then the final results were announced followed by a post placement talk. Totally 43 were selected from 275.
