Virtusa Polaris Interview Experience - HYDERABAD, 23/08/2017

Posted By : Naina Rating : +272, -4
I WAS NOT SELECTED BUT WANTED TO SHARE MY EXPERIENCE :

So the % required is 65, only cse and it people can attend the drive.

There are 3 rounds in this recruitment process.

1) Written (total technical no verbal, reasoning or anything).
2) TR.
3) HR.

ROUND 1:

In this round there are 3 sections:
a) Mcq's.
b) Programming question 1.
c) Programming question 2.

Mcq's are kind off easy you can crack this round if you have more knowledge on java, DBMS, (most of the questions are based on these 2) and other questions are based on SDLC, UML.

And coming to b) and c) sections we have to write the code in java only there are no other options, they will describe the problem and give us maximum code we have to fill the small part of the incomplete code.

You will be selected if you at least attempt the logic.

OUT OF 140 MEMBERS 40 WERE SHORTLISTED FOR THE TR ROUND AND I WAS ONE AMONG THEM.

ROUND 2:

My interview went for more then 30 m, the interviewer asked me every kind off question that  he could probably ask, I have answered almost every question he asked (with a gentle smile like every one says), questions were mostly based on JAVA, DBMS.

My friends were asked simple questions than me(by other interviewer) like write any  program in java, that means it totally depends on the mood of the person who interviews you.
I came out of the room and I was very confident that I'll get selected but the result was unexpected.

Off course I was disappointed  as hell, I cried the entire day (because I have answered almost every question he asked and still got rejected).

So my point of sharing this experience is don't get upset for failing in  1, 2 or 10 drives also, always remember that there will be a day for you, it is waiting for you, don't demotivate yourself because you got rejected, rejection is not the end.

The company is not lucky enough to take a person like you, so pull up your socks and get ready to crack the upcoming drive.
ROUND 3:
Experience of my friends.
Person 1: Basic questions like what is your favorite subject (MATHS- write a formula).
Tell me about yourself -Got selected.

person 2: Same question what is your favorite subject(MATHS)
19*5=? (told).
16*9=?(told).
160%10(took fraction of seconds to tell )-Got rejected.

So it totally depends on luck some times.
You can trust your knowledge but not your luck.

Yesterday my luck was not in my favor buts it's ok, I'm going to take this an experience and move forward.

OUT OF 40 SHORTLISTED PEOPLE 20 WERE PLACED,
ALWAYS BELIEVE IN YOURSELF, THE BEST IS WAITING FOR YOU, REMEMBER THAT AND MOVE FORWARD.

All the best guys !

Hope every one reading this will get selected in any company :)
