I attended Tech Mahindra off campus held at Francis Xavier Engineering College, Tirunelveli. It was a combined recruitment drive for 2013 passouts. 148 students attended the off-campus.
Around 10 am they started the pre-placement talk and told about the company & gave some instructions about the written test.
Total of 170 questions in 80 mins. It's a online based test.
100 questions were from English. Questions were from articles, prepositions, error spotting, sentence correction etc. It was easy. Verbal Ability questions given in IndiaBix is enough to clear this section.
Remaining 70 questions were from Logical reasoning & Quants. Logical & Verbal reasoning, Arithmetic Aptitude questions given in IndiaBix helped me clear this section.
Around 2 pm the results were announced. 32 students cleared the written. I was one among them.
In the technical round the HR will ask most of the questions from your resume. So be clear on what you have mentioned in your resume. He asked me questions related to electronics, power electronics, Digital electronics, Difference between C & C++ & a C program for Fibonacci Series.
I successfully cleared this round, then it was General HR round.
In general HR they will check your English communication. So be clear and confident on what you speak. He asked me what is difference between Ability & Capability, then asked are you flexible to work anywhere in India.
Then the final results were announced at 8 pm. Totally they selected 12 students. I was one among them. We were asked to fill the employee application form. The package is 2.47 lpa during training (six months) then 3.07 lpa.
Clearing the written exam is most important, so concentrate on it because major filtration will be done in the written test.
In HR rounds be confident and speak fluently, If you don't know anything don't give wrong answers, just tell that you will learn those things.
