Mindtree Interview Experience - Asansol, 11/09/2015
A few days back I was searching for mindtree placement papers and now I'm writing my experience here. It was a great experience.
There were three rounds. At first there was an online test which consists of 3 sections.
Verbal, quant and logical.
Each section has separate cut offs, so I would advice to be careful. I would advice to solve amcat's questions, the questions were similar from there. After that result was announced. I got selected.
Then there was an online programming test round. There were two questions. Generally they ask one pattern questions. There is no need to solve both. But if time is left after doing one, you can try other as well. My 1st question was a string based problem. I navigated to 2nd question and the second was a pattern question. 45 minutes were given to solve both the problem. I did the pattern one and output matched. 10 min was left but I accidently pressed the submit button. As, I did one question completely I got selected in this round as well.
Then there was my interview. I entered the room, there was only one person sitting there. I greeted and asked permission to seat. He asked me how was my day going on and a few simple HR questions. Then he said that since you are a cse student, rate yourself in C language. I said 7 or 7.5. He said okay and gave two programs to write.
They were simple programs. I did that. Then he asked my favourite subject. I said DBMS. He asked a simple query to write. I wrote. Then he asked about the trainings I had done and about my project. Then he asked a simple question from OS. I told all and he seemed impressed.
My interview ended and the result came out. Out of 400 candidates who appeared in the exam 27 got selected and I was one of them. Theyannonced my name and gave me offer letter in my hand. It was a great.
