MindTree Interview Experience - 12 Nov 2014, Bangalore
Students had to write two rounds of aptitude test.
1. Normal aptitude which included Verbal, Logical, English and Quantitative. (1hr 30 mins)
2. Programming Aptitude. (45 mins)
The aptitude was conducted by AMCAT.
In programming Apti, they ask to write programs by giving an example.
Prepare for codes to generate various patterns of triangle etc. (google it - codes to generate pattern) and another program will be like string reversal, GCD of array of numbers:, something in arrays and strings.
Shortlisted students were asked to come to our college. I was lucky to be one among the shortlisted students.
Further process included only Technical/HR interview in one go.
The Main Technical stuffs they ask you is the error detection and correction of programs, which you people attended in the aptitude programming round.
They might also ask other programs like String reversal, Swapping using stack, Functions etc.
They will ask you to write codes for it. Theoretical explanation is not enough.
They look through coding skills, don't worry if you don't know Java, C++, etc.
C is the Basic. Just be confident.
Since the company has the managerial field along with the services field, they look for communication skills. They just stop talking and you people have to start talking, The interview process went for nearly 45 mins. Elaborate your points, give examples.
Basic questions in HR like,
- Indirectly asking to tell about yourself.
- Why percentages have varied from different sems, reasons, etc.
- Be frank in answering, no problem.
- But just be good with the way you say.
- What are problems india is facing? explain your view on it
hobbies etc.
I was lucky enough to be selected among the 250 peoples who attended the interview process.
Be confident, keep a relaxed mindset, guys would be happy to see young lady HR's, even I had a lady HR :-) .
