L & T Infotech Interview Experience - Mumbai, January 5, 2014
I am Thankful to IndiaBix to give me platform to share my experience of L and T Infotech off campus Drive which was conducted on 5th January 2015 in Datta Meghe College Of Engineering Airoli.
There were 5 rounds in selection process:
1. Aptitude Test.
2. Group discussion.
3. Essay Writing (Not Elimination round).
4. Technical Interview.
5. HR Interview.
Aptitude Test :- (60 Questions in 60 Min- No Negative Marking):
Section 1 - Quant & Basic Maths (20 Q).
Section 2 - Logical Reasoning (20 Q).
Section 3 - English (20 Q).
The most simple & easy one part was Quant for Engg's I think lol. Reasoning & English were slightly tough than quant. Try to attempt all questions because there is no negative marking for L & T campus.
You have to make proper time management for each section, and then only you will complete it within time frame.
For Quant just you have to prepare profit & loss, percentage, problem on ages, ratio & proportion, mike & water problem, data interpretation etc topics.
For Reasoning go through problem on Relations, syllogism, Direction test etc which is all logical.
For English Spotting errors in sentences, synonyms, antonyms & 1 big passage etc.
I suggest you to only prepare above topics which is mention because it enough for you to go in next round.
There were more than 500 students came for process & only 55 shortlisted from 1st round.
Group Discussion :
They made 5 batches each of 11 students for GD. I was in 2nd batch & our topic was "Should Aptitude test be there in the selection process of MNC's".
I know the topic was very easy but we all were boys in that group so there was lots of debate on topic.
My suggestion for GD is be truthful & clear about your points which you discussed & make lots of entries with strong points so it will help you to select.
In our group, 3 members were not able to talked a single word still they selected because of Our GD examiner.
He selected our all group for the next round.
If you cleared above two rounds, you are 90% in placed. Around 38 selected for next round from GD.
Essay writing :
It was not elimination round but at the time of HR interview might have chances that will be evaluated.
My topic was "Effect of Government holidays on Indian Economy".
Try to write essay in simple words without grammatical mistakes.
Technical Interview :
I am from Electronics Background so I was very nervous in technical. But I know basic fundes of C & C++language. As my interview started, it goes smoothly.
Question- Do you know difference between C & Java, Why C is called as structured language, What is stack works in Microprocessor, Full form of SAP, Do you know how many modules in SAP ? What is the orientation of each module (He asked me many questions on SAP because I'm SAP certified).
My Technical was very good. I was sure about my results so I was very excited for next round.
HR Interview :
If you performed very good in technical then HR is only for checking your confidence while you talking & your communication skills. Otherwise might have chances, HR person could also asked you technical questions.
My HR round was superb. Whatever he asked me, I gave awesome answers on all questions. So he was very impressed on me. Questions were tell me about yourself, tell me about any one visit which you remembered, What is your ambitions, Can you tell me definition of Success in your language ? etc.
After HR round they guide us that they will informed result through email because that was offcampus process.
After 2 Days, I got called from TPO of Datta Meghe college & he declared result as I was selected in L & T infotech. Within week, we all got official offer letter from L & T infotech.
Prepare guys systematically & logically, you will definitely select.
