L & T Interview Pattern - Alwar, Sep 5, 2011

Hi Friends,

This is mayank frm E&C iet,alwar...my interview was in 4 rounds....
first round was aptitude test.....it consisted of 3 sections.......

1. Mathematics
2. Reasoning
3. General english

Mathematics and reasoning part were too easy, but the english section was as tough....this part made the difference because there was sectional cut-off process...
i was damn sure before the results foe being selected...and i was selected for the 2nd round alomgwith 39 more students.........

2nd round was group discussion round....75 toppers from different branches were already promoted for 2nd round directly...so there were 115 students for group discussion round in 10 groups..........
i was in 2nd group and a little bit nervous also...total of 15 students were there in my group and all were too good....our topic was "should group discussion be a part of selection process in company interviews".... i presented myself pretty confidently and somewhere led my group also......finally i was selected alongwith 9 more students of my group..... so totally 61 out of 115 students were selected for 3rd round......

3rd round was technical round...interviewer asked me about c & c++, vhdl,embedded, control system etc... i answered confidently each question....
when result of technical round came, every1 was so nervous....my name was announced in last and i jumped with joy....so 46 were selected for next round out of 61.......

it was the final round..the HR round....all 46 were so confident for being selected...but somebody told us that elimination is still in picture...and any1 can be eliminated in HR round also....
when result came, the announcer announced that 2 unlucky students are not selected...every1 was afraid that time...when the result was announced,my name was also there in the list of lucky 44.....i danced and enjoyed that awesome moment........
i m proud for being selected...
