L&T INFOTECH PATTERN & INTERVIEW - 25 MAR 2007 - CHENNAI
I am Vinodhkumar.D from GKM college of Engineering. I went to L&T INFOTECH on 25th March.
The selection process consist of three rounds:
the paper consist of three sections:
1.Quantitative Aptitude(30 Questions;30 Minutes)
2.Verbal(30 Questions;30 Minutes)
3.Non verbal(30 Questions;30 Minutes)
The threat is that you need to pass the minimum cutoff in all three sections. TIME MANAGEMENT is very very important. Dont waste more than 30 minutes in any section. Click out atleast 20 Questions with Confidence, that'll do the rest.
It was very easy, all questions where basic questions from RS AGGARWAL, Read all the worked out examples in RS Aggarwal Quantitative Aptitude. Questions covers almost all TOPICS, Go for OLDER VERSION of RS AGGARWAL, don't go in depth in Quantitative aptitude
Regarding Verbal & Non Verbal, just have a Glance of RS Aggarwal VERBAL & NON-VERBAL, thats more than enough.
Each Group consist of 15 members, there may be two HR for each GD group. The Initiator will surely be selected, there may or may not be a concluder.
Dont worry about the time at which you start, just start with confidence, TRY TO GIVE SOME EXAMPLES & PROVERBS and explain how it is related to the topic.. bcoz some people can't relate it to the topic, even the HR in some peculiar cases...
EXAMPLES are the only gate pass to get through the GD, so rock up with it. Always have a smily face, don't jump or fight with others, it will reduce your points..
In my group 8 were selected out of the 15.
HR INTERVIEW (non technical only)
For me it took place like GD, 12 member were sent to hr at the same time & and were made to sit around a round table with HR in one corner of the table..
We were asked to talk something for two minutes, It should impress the HR, Dont say the same thing what others say bcoz it'll reduce your points....
I was the 3rd start, I was stopped while talking about my ROLE MODEL, bcoz the first two talked about their role models..., BUT I TOOK THIS AS AN ADVANTAGE TO INTERACT WITH THE HR TO EXPRESS MY VIEWS ABOUT MY ROLE MODEL IN A DIFFERENT WAY, IT ADDED MY POINTS..(Questions may be raised from your resume) so be careful in the resume.. I was asked about NANOTECHNOLOGY as i presented a paper in it, i spoke for 90 seconds...
