Infosys Interview Experience - Mumbai, September 2015
Infosys came to our DJ Sanghvi College of Engineering campus.
Let me come to the point and talk about the various sections in Infosys selection process:
1) Aptitude Test.
2) Tech + HR (personal interview).
Apti is divided into 3 sections:
I) Logical Section- which consists of 15 questions in 25 mins of Data Interpretation, Sentence sequencing, Data Sufficiency. (5 question each).
II) Quants- 10 questions in 35 mins. Permutation and Combination, Probability, Crypt Arithmetic, Speed Time Distance, Series and Data Arrangement(it was easy but tricky).
If you practice these above mentioned topics from IndiaBix you can clear it easily.
IMPORTANT KEY - There are mix level questions, some are very easy and solvable within minutes, so it is important that you choose solve all easy questions first and then move on to the ones which you are not sure of.
You get a sufficient time in both these sections to solve the questions.
III) Infosys is a company which focusses a lot on Verbal Ability so thy continue the trend in their new pattern as well. There are 40 questions to be solved in 35 mins.
Topics - Sentence correction, Fill in the blanks, Idioms and Phrase choosing, 2 paragraphs.
KEY- Solve everything and keep paragraphs to be solved at the end.
IF YOU DON'T KNOW OR AREN'T SURE ABOUT A PARTICULAR QUESTION SO JUST LEAVE IT AND MOVE ON TO THE NEXT. DON'T WASTE TIME SOLVING IT WHICH MAY LEAD YOU TO MISS OUT ON THOSE QUESTIONS WHICH ARE EASY TO SOLVE.
PS - NO NEGATIVE MARKING BUT A SECTIONAL CUT OFF.
So I cleared with the Aptitude Test which was the main thing to get into Infosys.
2nd Round. Personal Interview (Tech + HR):
This was just to see you interactivity and communication skills, how confident are you, some basic questions about family background, how was your day, tell me something about yourself, how was the test, why you chooses this career path.
Technical questions about MY Project, OOPS Concepts, Basic HTML and SQL question.
After all this I was through and placed.
