We were given papers to do rough work which would be attached to the resume and other sheets that will be given to the person who would interview us.
So out of 540 eligible students who gave the test, about 300+ got shortlisted. I was one of them. Not a big deal!
On 16th all the shortlisted students had to attend the interview (TR+HR).
I was interviewed by a lady. She scanned my resume and started of with the question 'Tell me about yourself'.
So I told about me, my schooling, the best part of my schooling, my hobbies.
She asked one more question on my hobbies and I explained.
Then I was asked to write algorithm to find HCF of two numbers. I wrote and explained.
She asked such a simple question as I was from ECE.
The next question was to explain about my mini project and the difficulties that we had faced. I explained.
She then asked me to explain about one of the papers I presented. Explained.
Then she asked me what was my favorite subject in B-Tech.
I explained a few things about control systems (my fav sub) and gave examples of open loop and closed loop control systems by showing fan and A. C inside that very cabin. She was pretty impressed.
She then asked "Why don't do an MBA?". I replied " I definitely want to do but with my hard earned money. I don't want to depend on, why parents anymore. " She was impressed again. :D.
She also asked me to briefly explain about Software Development Life Cycle.
She finally asked me if I had any questions to ask. I first acknowledged her that she made me feel very comfortable while doing the interview. (She was again impressed :P ;) ) I told about the training campus in Mysore and how much I was looking forward to be there. I asked how would the company encourage its employees to take up higher studies. She explained.
It was the end. She wished me all the best, have a good day and escorted me out to the cabin. :).
Finally I was one among the 264 who were cleared the interviews. :D.
