Infosys Interview Experience - 27 Oct 2014
For Written test, I would advise you to prefer R. S. Aggarwal and Arun Sharma for Quants and for English. I can't say much as mine is also not that good :D anyways just follow basic grammar rules it would be sufficient. Manage your time well for this section as you have to answer 40 questions in 40 minutes. Difficulty level was not that high but don't take it easy guys :)
Hopefully, I managed to crack the exam and I was called for interview on next day.
The day was not good for me, new to city, lost my wallet, I don't know what to do broke my phone as I was in panic :D still I managed to reach for interview.
Interviewer: Hello, Please take your seat.
Me: Thank you sir.
Interviewer: So, how are you?
Me: Not fine sir, told him what had happened with me, he said beware for future I said okay.
Interviewer: Tell me about yourself.
Interviewer: Tell something about project.
Interviewer: You got good academic record still you don't manage to get placed through campus why?
Me: Told (I got rejected by TCS and Accenture and I told him why I was rejected)
Interviewer: What value did engineering gave to you?
Interviewer: Short term and long term goals?
Me: Short term - to get job in a reputed company likes yours, long term - I don't make long term goals as I believe that " boond karke hi sagar banta hai " so I make short goals and make my way.
Interviewer: Any queries?
Me: Sir, I want to know about your mysore campus as my sister talked about it very much.
2nd question I asked about my negative points if he could tell me.
He said till now he can't as if all is positive.
He said okay I am done.
I said thank you.
We both stood up, shook our hands. He offer me some money if I can borrow from me, I said no as I already borrowed it from my friend.
He said nice to meet you. I gave him smile.
I don't know how well i have write or how well my interview was but I want to get in any how :) pray for me :D.
Thanks may be it will help you guys :) Best of luck!
