Infosys Test for 2015 Passouts - Hyderabad, September 29, 2014
I am Muhammad Qamaruddin from MJCET, Hyderabad. We had Infosys Aptitude test Today. So I would like to share my experience with you all.
We had the Pre-placement talk for about 40 Mins. The HR gave a nice presentation on the company's projects done so far n the future ones. He also told how Infosys solves problems for their clients.
Aptitude Test Paper.
It had three Parts as they has changed its pattern from last year and introduced Quants as well.
Part I: Logical Reasoning (15 Questions 25 Minutes).
1-5 Questions were on a Data Interpretation Table.
It was a bit confusing. It was not a normal DI table. We had to fill in values in the table and then answer the questions. But I did those questions just in time. I felt this section was the most difficult one.
6-10 Questions were on Syllogism.
They were very hard. 5 statements were given and we needed to find 3 logically correct statements from them. Practice them and you will get them easily.
11-15 Questions were on Data Sufficiency.
They were just a bit tricky. You need to practice those. IndiaBix has a lot of questions on all these three topics. Practice them and you will get them.
Part II: Quants (10 Questions 35 Minutes).
This was the easiest from all the sections.
2 Questions were on Permutations and Combinations.
2 Questions were on Missing Letter Series and Number Series.
1 Question was on Time & Distance.
5 Questions were from Analytical Reasoning Part (5 people wore 5 different colored shirts type of Question). I found it very strange that they put this up in the Quants Section.
Part III: Verbal Ability (40 Questions 35 Minutes).
This was also an easy Section.
10 Questions on Sentence Correction.
10 Questions on Insert the correct phrase.
5 Questions were fill in the blanks with prepositions.
10 Questions were on Comprehensions which were also unexpectedly easy.
5 Questions were on Sentence Improvement I guess I forgot actually sorry.
I always thought that Infosys Aptitude is very difficult. Its a big misconception. You all can do very well. Total 330 Students wrote the test and 198 qualified and I was among them. We have technical/hr round tomorrow. Will update that soon. Wish you guys all the best. And hats off to IndiaBix which helped me a lot in preparing for the test. All you need is to practice questions at this very website. Best of luck. Good Bye.
