PLACEMENT EXPERIENCE:

Hi everyone. My name is Madhuri from AU College. I just wanna share with you all my interview experience through this site which helped me in cracking my Interview and Exam.

There are only 2 rounds in Infosys, they are,

1. Written test.
2. HR+TR.

Coming to the Written test there are 3 sections.

SECTION-1:    15 questions - 25 minutes.

5 questions- Syllogisms (advise you to refer IndiaBix).
5 questions- Data Interpretation (refer to IndiaBix its sufficient).
5 questions- Data Sufficiency (practice the models well so as to save time in exam from whatever material you get).

SECTION-2:  10 questions - 35 minutes.

5 questions- Aptitude (refer to formula and practice various models because you can find only application part in exam).
5 questions- Logical Reasoning (practice is the only here).

SECTION-3:   40 questions - 35 minutes.

12 questions- Theme Detection (refer IndiaBix).
10 questions- 2 passages.

One would be very lengthy and other would be of average length.
I suggest you to do this at the end. Don't stress much time on it.

18 questions- Correction of sentences (refer TIME material you can find various models).
Here time management is very very important.

Once you clear the written exam, its easy to crack the interview.

The best mindset to have before facing an HR interview is that think that you are not going to get the job. I know this is a stupid advice but trust me it will work.

Be confident, think that you have nothing to lose.

I heard that Infy interview is nothing puzzles. but its not like that guys it depends on the HR you get. So don't stress yourself much on puzzles. And there are some basic questions they would ask you are:

- TELL ME ABOUT YOURSELF?
- What is SDLC?
- IT TRENDS IN INDUSTRY?
- WHY SHOULD I HIRE YOU?
- MINI PROJECT.

If there any fluctuations in your marks they would ask the reason. Be prepared for it and be truthful.

And coming for CSE students as I am from CSE they ask simple programs to write in your language of interest and refer DBMS too.

BE PERFECT WITH YOUR RESUME they would ask from everything from your RESUME only.
AND GET THE INFORMATION ABOUT THE COMPANY.

And they also ask any question for them at last so be prepared for it ask questions like -
what are the qualities you are expecting from freshers?

Is there any opportunity for MASTERS?

Don't sit idle in this time.

At last but not the least, they are going to check your CONFIDENCE LEVELS through this interview.

Out of 900 members 400 are selected for written and 288 got through the interview.

I was one among them.

Don't worry, if you do not succeed, life gives us many opportunities.

To get an idea refer previous question papers and if they are tough, don't worry they are just models and you would get an idea.

At last, I thank INDIABIX, which is a wonderful site which lets you in through exams.

So, all the best for your exam.
See you all at  INFOSYS.
