Interviewer - How should I pronounce your name?
I pronounced it.
Interviewer - So, Sourin You are from Civil Engineering department, then why software?
Me - Mam, basically Civil Engineering is not limited to bricks and sand only. We need to analyse big data, formulate them. Actually all engineering branches are integrated. We need software to solve critical problem smartly and efficiently. And I liked programming from my school days.
Interviewer - (impressed) How to develop a software?
Me - Mam I can't tell the process of developing a software but from general perspective in any developing process we need to collect data first, then analyse, then making a prototype to run, calculating feasibility of the project and economic vitality, then launching it.
Fully impressed. (Rest was just finishing touch).
Interviewer - About your projects?
Me - Told in details.
Interviewer - Basic C programming.
Me - Solved.
