Hi all.

I am selected for Infosys. This is very happiest thing in my life. I am very happy to write my experiences!

First of all I say thanks to IndiaBix.com, for providing previous papers and interview experiences.

I attended infosys off-campus at Chennai on 8th march 2014 at St Peters Engineering College at Chennai. My test slot was 11 am and they started the test sharply 11am. The exam was some what difficult and time taking. But we prepared well and answered all the questions (because no negative marks - so chances are high).

Don't leave any question, plan and manage time for all. Duration of test will be approx 100 minutes.

The test consists of two sections (a) Learn-ability Test (Arithmetic, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning etc) and.

(b) Test of Communicative English.

In aptitude section they covered all concepts like number series, probability, ages. For this refer RS Agarwal book, and have idea on all basic concepts. In reasoning also deductions, analytical reasoning. All are covered. For this also refer the R.S.Agarwal book.

In English section grammar, some passage based questions, tenses, sentence corrections. All are covered. For this section grip on grammar things is important. Once we cleared the return test then the chances to get job are high.

After that exam they sent the result through mail next day and my HR interview was scheduled on 11th march at Chennai infosys campus. The interview also started at mentioned time correctly.

Infosys HR persons are very good persons and they make us fearless and they talk in friendly manner.

My HR Question:

Me: Good morning mam.

HR: Very good morning.

HR: How are you and how is this campus (to make me fearless asked this question).
Me: Fine and campus is very nice.

HR: Give me your resume.
I gave my resume and after seeing that.

HR: Explain about your academic project (For interview prepare well for this question).
Me: Explained.

And asked some other questions on that.

So prepare well about your project in detail.

HR: What are your hobbies?
Me: I said watching tv, listening music preferably comedy movies and melodious music.

HR: Which movie you saw recently?
Me: I said 'attarintiki daredi'.

HR: Smiled and asked me to tell the story.
Me: I told her.

For testing our english speaking skills, this type of questions are asked.

HR: Why did you choose infosys?
Me: Answered.

HR: Are you ready to work in any technology?
Me: Yes I am comfortable.

HR: Are you willing to reallocate?
Me: Yes.

In any interview for this q say yes.

HR: Do you have any questions?
Me: I asked about training details.

HR: Answered, any thing else?
Me: No.

HR: OK tq and we will inform the result through mail.
Me: Glad to meet you madam, thank you.

My suggestion is. Talk confidently and maintain eye contact.

Our communication skills are tested there, so feel fearless and tension less and pleasantly give answers. I am basically from Telugu medium up to tenth, so don't feel nervous and speak confidently and use simple English without grammar mistakes. The HR people at infosys are very good people and they have friendly nature.

After that I got my offer confirmation through mail on June, 2014.

I feel very happy in my life and I am happy to say that I am an infoscion (infosys employee) !

I think my experience will be helpful to some extent.

All the best to all!
