Infosys Interview Experience - Galgotia Engineering College, Greater noida, 2 Feb 2014
First part was the written section on 1st of feb 2014, which was really tough.I think there were more than 860 graduates out of which 168 were selected for the interview.
I was one of them to clear the written round.
Written consists of aptitude and general English. The English part was very tough.
on 2nd feb 2014 I was called for the interview at 12:30 pm at the same place.
After just 10 minutes of waiting, I was called for the interview.
Me: may I come in ma'am?
Interviewer: Yes, please have a seat.
I thanked and sat on the chair.
Interviewer: How was the test yesterday?
Me: It was fine, It was a bit tough but done with the help of my knowledge.
Than she verified my details like my name, Percentage, Email id, mobile number, passport etc.
Than got to the interview again.
Interviewer: What is the difference b/w C and C++?
Me: Ma'am I don't know about c++ but you can ask me anything about C language.
She then asked that you are from EC, So why do you want to join an IT company
Me: ma'am first of all the salary is very less in EC and secondly I am very good in programming and want to make my career in IT.
Than she asked if I had any offer letter in hand.
Me: Yes, I actually had 2 offer letters.
She asked me reason of not joining.
She then enquired about some family background and something that is not mentioned in my Cv.
Interviewer: Tell me something about project
Interviewer:some general question and asked me if i was comfortable with relocation ? and immediate joining?
Me:yes i am comfortable.
Interviewer: Ok we are done, You can leave now.
Me: Thank you ma'am and left.
I was told that the selected candidates will be sent mail within one week.
Today on 6 feb 2014 I got my offer letter from infosys.
