Preparing for InfoSys ? The dream company ! Just felt like sharing my experience that could help you out !!

I am CHETAN.H.S studying in BE(Final year) in Atria Institute Of Technology, Bangalore. On 14th sept infosys came to our campus.

Selected for HR= 86
Final selection= 80

I would like to thank  to INDIABIX.com for providing test patterns and interview experience of various companies.
I like to share  my experience in INFOSYS interview process.

GETTING IN TO INFOSYS IS SO EASY


sept 14th Infy came to our college..

It was 10am and the infy group entered into our campus.

1.PPT:
         Starts with pre-placement talk for 45mins..
         Showed some videos about d history of INFY,Educational centre at MYSORE,
         facilities der and  Profit n Loss of d company...
         Take note of this carefully bcoz  it may be useful during HR interview process.
         Then v moved to d exam hall for d apptitude Test  


2.WRITTEN TEST
          This consists of two sections
          a.Reasoning(30 quests on 40 mins)
          b.Verbal(40 quests in 35 mins)

      a.REASONING part consist of

           1.picture series(5)
            Very easy ...practice from RSA verbal non verbal.

           2.data sufficiency(very easy..R.S.Agarval Quant)(5)

           3.data intrepretation( Quant R.S.Agarval)(5)

           4.puzzle(verbal and non-verbal R.S.Agarval)(5)

           5.Cube questions from R.S.Agarval(5)

           6.syllogism(verbal and non-verbal R.S.Agarval..very Easy)(5)
           Syllogisms 6 statements were given namely A,B,C,D,E & F. Then from the options we were to find which of them follow.
            Eg. options are 1. ABD 2. BEF 3. BDE 4.ACF 5. None of these.

       b.VERBAL
                    A PERSON WITH AVG. KNOWLEDGE OF ENGLISH GRAMMER CAN DO IT EASILY.. JUST REFER YOUR ANY HIGH SCHOOL GRAMMER BOOK.
                it's only speed that matters. U should be fast in reading and accurate in comprehension.

         
            1.Passage(very big do it at last)
         
            2.Theme Detection
               Deriving conclusion from small passages  
 
            3.Fill in with  Preposition.
               Answer elimination process wrks best

            4.Sentence correction(6-10)
                4 statements almost the same but with some difference.. mark the one which is grammatically correct..
                look for spelling mistakes.. grammar errors etc..

            5.Replace underlined sentence(6-10)
                   Refer any Grammar book having Tenses  

            6.small passage(very Easy to score)


3.HR(NON TECHNICAL INTERVIEW)
           purely non technical
           think the person before u as a friend..
           Talk boldly if it s wrong too..Talk confidently
           Keep ur face smiling..    
           Quest vl b asked based on the contents in the resume.
           Prepare ur resume very legibilly n see the contents in that is true....
           they check with ur communication skill..

   My kind advice is see through  Time management..
   Give equal priority to both section bcz they check both  for selection.
